I had the most perfect day yesterday. My mom and I love to hike and it had been far too long since we had taken a day trip together. She is the world's most professional internet researcher, my boyfriend and I call her a wizard because she knows all things, and told me about a place nearby- Mount Tamalpais. I am so glad we made the short drive and got to enjoy such a peaceful and lovely day together. We were worried when we saw fog coming up but it turned out to be the most breathtaking sight once we arrived at the top of it all.
We took East Peak trail and were hoping to see the Golden Gate. It was too foggy but we will be back to see it again soon. Regardless, every which way you looked was absolutely incredible.
We stopped at this perfect little spot to eat our lunch. I could have sat there all day.
My mom is a beautiful hiking beast. I can only hope to be in as good of shape as her when I am that age. Days like this mean the world to me.
