Took my love to Mendocino to celebrate his 24 birthday. We stayed at the Andiron in Little River the first night. The highlight of this cute little place was definitely the hot tub which was all lit up at night. We saved a good number of banana slugs lives that night, being the nice human beings that we are.
We spent our day sitting on the beach, him trying to teach me to skip rocks. I can't say that it worked but it was definitely fun. One day maybe I will actually master it. Rock skipping, wine, enjoying being away in a beautiful place.
Day two was started at the Little River Inn where the best pancakes in the entire universe are made. Im not kidding, you have to go here at least once. I would drive to Little River just for these pancakes. And I had two beautiful views while enjoying them, my handsome man and the ocean outside. I recommend it.
Next stop was in the heart of Mendocino, Alegria Inn. Also highly recommended! Take a short walk, literally from the backyard of the Inn's secret garden, and you're in this gorgeous secluded little area. More rock skipping here, which I have still yet to master.
Our actual room was a sight to see as well.
The secret garden I was talking about...seriously beautiful.
Left this wonderful stay with a complimentary organic breakfast. This little fruit cup was too cute, I had to get a picture. We even ate the flowers.
